First idea of this kind of interactive code editors I saw, was from an Ipad app Codea:

And yes, than I saw this presentation:

And I think it's pretty cool, and would be ready to pay for that (of course depending on amount of money), just to try and play with it.

Right, as long it is a reasonable amount of money and the power of the tool makes you much more productive, it makes much sense to invest on tools like these.
