Description Author

This object can send AJAX requests with the XMLHttpRequest objects.

It can create a XMLHttpRequest object or fallback to ActiveX equivalent objects for older Microsoft Internet Explorer versions.

The object can send HTTP requests to a given URL. Given callback functions are called when then response of the request is received or an error has occurred.

It supports options to set the HTTP request method, or send the request in synchronous or asynchronous mode.
