This object can present a control to let users pick colors from a palette.

It provides a Web page control in five graphical presentation styles to pick colors.

The colors can also be picked from databases of named colors. Seven databases of colors are made available: Brewer, common, Crayola, HTML, OpenOffice, universal and X11.

The picked colors can be returned in several color space models including hexadecimal RGB, RGB, HSL, HSB, HCG, or CMYK, or the names of the colors when using named color databases.
